Do you have a local bucket list of local restaurants that you want to try? Chamber Restaurant Week is back January 28-February 4, and it’s the best way to try the area’s newest and hottest spots.

In our 15th year and with over 50 of Bluffton and Hilton Head Island restaurants participating, there will be something for everyone. Restaurants will offer prix-fixe menus starring new entrees, signature dishes, and fan favorites. Check out the menus below!

Remember the smell of corndogs and the thrill of the Tilt-A-Whirl? You’ll be ready for a trip to the fair after author Rodger Stroup discuss his book Meet Me at the Rocket: A History of the South Carolina State Fair. With vivid imagery, he’ll explain how the fair grew from its humble beginnings into the popular event it is today.

NIBCAA has hosted the Hilton Head Island Gullah Celebration, since 1996, which showcases the rich cultural heritage of the Gullah people and their history on Hilton Head Island. This year’s Celebration events include the “Arts Ob We People Annual Art Exhibition and Sale”, “Taste of Gullah”, Arts, Crafts and Food Expo, Gullah Gospel Music Series and more! We invite you to celebrate Gullah where your soul will be transformed by the spirit of the Gullah Culture.

February 6 – March 5, 2023

The Society of Bluffton Artists will feature the artwork of local students in their annual high school art show, slated for Feb. 6-March 5. An opening reception will take place from 5-7 p.m. Feb. 11 at the gallery, located in Old Town Bluffton.

This year, three schools are participating in the student art exhibit: Bluffton High School, May River High School andCross School. High school students involved in their schools’ arts programs often go on to pursue careers in art, design or photography.

February 20-26, 2023

Over the course of seven days guests take in celebrity guest chef dinners, the best of southern pitmasters, local wildlife, cooking demos, wine tastings, mixologist, scholars and more. The festival explores the South’s evolving food culture, which has been returning to its roots in recent years by honoring its rich native agriculture. Experience our coast’s  rich fishing heritage during the weeklong festival. Here you can sample restaurants’ fresh catch specials, try fresh oysters, and maybe even learn how to fish yourself. From incredible seafood meals to rustic barbecue and bonfires, world-class talent and southern charm collide on one gorgeous Island setting.

March 13-18, 2023

The Hilton Head International Piano Competition, one of the leading international piano competitions in the United States, operates with a three year rotation of events: an adult competition for pianists 18 – 30 years of age, a young artist competition for pianists 13 – 17 years of age, and a festival that showcases past prize winners and other famous piano artists performing music ranging from classical to jazz genres. The competition events draw applicants, artists, and audience from countries the world over.

The Heritage Classic Foundation is excited to announce that the 56th annual RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing will take place April 10-16, 2023. This year’s tournament will be catching the eyes of the biggest stars in golf as they compete for the plaid jacket.
